  • 1/4 cup Sherry (cooking)
  • 32 oz Beef stock
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Dijon Mustard
  • 1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream
  • Seasonings (your favorite)
  • Egg noodles (cooked)
  • Parley (optional for garnish)
  1. Cook egg noodles according to package instructions.

  2. In a 12 in nonstick skillet, add the ground beef and cook until it is browned. Season with garlic and seasonings, if desired. Be sure to chop and crumble the cooked ground beef well.

  3. Once the ground beef has been cooked well, remove from the pan, drain and set aside.

  4. To the same skillet, add in 2 tablespoons of butter and melt. After the butter has melted, add in chopped mushrooms and onions. Cook until a caramel brown.

  5. Add in the flour to the mushrooms and onions and cook stirring continuously.

  6. Next add in the cooking sherry, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard. Mix well.

  7. Stir in the heavy cream.

  8. Mix the cooked ground beef into the mixture. Season with your choice of seasonings.

  9. Continue cooking sauce and stirring occasionally. Take out about 1/2 cup of the sauce from the skillet and mix in the sour cream a little bit at a time until all sour cream has been added to the sauce.

  10. Add the sour cream mixture into the skillet with the rest of the sauce. Cook sauce for an additional one to two minutes, stir and mix well.

  11. Serve the sauce over top of hot cooked egg noodles. Garnish with parsley, if desired.
