Crockpot Cranberry Orange Turkey Meatballs

3 lbs Ground turkey
2 eggs
1/4 cup milk
1/2 onion chopped
garlic, two cloves, crushed
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1/2 cup orange marmalade
2 cans cranberry sauce, jellied
1/2 cup cranberry juice
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
4 tbsp orange juice
1 tbsp. parsley (optional)
seasonings (see not below)
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Directions
- In a mixing bowl add in the ground turkey, eggs, milk, garlic, onions, Worcestershire sauce, and seasonings, bread crumbs, Mix well until everything is combined.
- Form mixed meat into balls with scoop, spoons or your hands. Place balls on a baking sheet. Put your baking sheet into oven and cook the meatballs at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until done.
- While meatballs are cooking in the oven, make sauce in the crockpot by combining orange marmalade, cranberry sauce, cranberry juice, orange juice and apple cider vinegar. Mix well.
- Add cooked meatballs into sauce in your crockpot. Place on the lid.
- Cook in crockpot on high for 2 to 3 hours. Top with some chopped parsley to serve. (optional)
Notes
- You can add in your favorite seasonings, but the ones I used are: Italian seasonings, Lawry’s seasoning salt, Goya Adobo, Thyme, Lemon Pepper Seasoning, and Badia Adobo seasoning.
